Should we post resumes?

Posting resumes online has been suggested to me. However I am concerned over privacy. Please express your opinion at the poll below:

You might find my vote strange since I am a headhunter but I believe that you should be very careful with what you do with your personal information (and obviously cv/resume falls in that category).
I have been in the HH industry for 5 years and saw a lot of people get in trouble because careless recruiters used their cvs without asking for permission (esp as junior level but this happened at senior level too!!!)

My comment is based on the London market so this might not be the case on the other side of the pond.

Well I guess the answer to that may depend on post online where ?.... If its for eg quantnet (which I think is what the question was - else no need for the poll right) I dont think we would have a problem -- we can set up the permission so that only "relevant" people have access to it....

If its posting on some xyz job website, not sure...
