This past Monday, Gus and I went to the Graduate Student Assembly. We found out that the Graduate Student Assembly works on very important matters. They plan social and networking events for all graduate students in Baruch. They also decide on club budgets. And, most importany, they help students work out issues with the Baruch administrators. When we were there, some students bought up an issue of international students forced to take an English assessment exam even though these students may have good GMAT/TOEFL scores.
There are 9 slots for voting members of the GSA. Five are filled. There are 4 open slots right now. Is there anyone who would be interested in running? I think that you will be running unopposed.
Meetings are every Monday night from 9 pm - 10 pm in VC, RM 3-270.
