We are almost done with the first half of Cal refresher; it's time to take a breather and see what we've done and things to improve on.
What's better way than to go out with your classmates this Friday evening, have a drink and maybe talk a bit about the homework due the next Monday. :D

Bridgett will make an announcement during the class today about the details but here are some tentative info

Where: Main Street, Flushing, Queens (end of 7 train)
When: around 6pm. 7ish for the hard working people
What: maybe some hotpot, buffet, "You good to go" TacoBell or what have you.
Why: why not? We are a fun bunch and you should hang out with us.

Hopefully I can gather more than the few usual suspects this time around.

This is my recommended hotpot place in Flushing, Queens. It's about $12 /person.(One of my favorate). Everytime I passed by, there's always a long line for seat. So ...tell me if you would join, I can call to make a reservation.(I have Bridgett, Andy, Yan so far)
Andy, I think 6pm is too early for ppls wokring, can we make it a little later?
And we can have Bubble Tea(Mike's Gummy Bear) afterwards.

Mynni's Shabu Shabu
136-17 38th Ave. off of Main Street
(718) 762-6277
Mynni's Shabu Shabu is a Japanese restaurant that offers diners a unique experience. Shabu shabu is a Japanese dish consisting of thinly sliced meats and vegetables that you cook yourself in a pot of boiling water at the table. After the meats and vegetables are cooked, you dip them in a delicious sauce and eat.

Thanks Yan,
We will meet in front of the restaurant at 7pm. If you can get there later, it's fine. Just give us a call and we will save you a seat.

A call at the last minute probably won't do any good. Let Andy or Yan know ahead of time (say, Friday by noon?)

Yes, it's raining but really, what can stop us?
I've talked to Alain earlier and he told me to say hi to everyone coming. He will join us in future events when his company moves to the city in Aug.
That said, we've discussed some problems in the hw and I'm working on it now. Hopefully by the time I sit down with you guys for hotpot, I may know a thing or two to share so your time won't be wasted. How's that for 110% effort? :)

Come on, come on guys, it's Friday!! (We got hit by pouring rain last time in Flushing and still had a good time) Everybody welcomed! since hotpot is good for more ppls. Come join us if you feel you may have no other plan, we will have fun together.

Why Dan didn't post the revised HW ? He wants us to relax?
But from what it is now, I've done #1 and #2. ;-) ;-) Then I will have the whole weekend.

Yan- What is the headcount for now? Do you want to list people's names here so that each of us can check with you if you have each of our names already?
(for reservation purpose)

I think Eric is coming too. On top of the number we've got, maybe we should also reserve 3 open-spots just in case?
