A successful hedge fund located in CT is looking for exceptionally talented individuals to join our team as Quantitative Analysts/Developers. Quant Analyst/Developers will be involved in supporting the research and development of quantitative trading strategies using cutting edge technology. We seek self-starters who are interested in succeeding in a fast paced and demanding hedge fund setting. Candidates should be ambitious, enthusiastic, and have the ability to work both individually and in a team setting. Successful candidates will have great technology skills and a solid work ethic, and are eager to learn in a highly intellectual, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Design and develop portfolio management systems and tools using Java, C++, SQL databases and similar
Design and develop research infrastructure for the purpose of conducting economic and statistical research using object oriented programming languages and similarRequirements
Technical degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent with strong interest in Finance
2-6 yrs of software development experience, preferably in the financial industry
Strong programming skills: must have demonstrated ability and experience in both C++ and Java
Database experience (SQL)
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Strong GPA and SAT scores
