The background:
What started out as an open invitation to the Yankees-Oakland game by the program director Dan Stefanica took some unexpected twists but ultimately turned into a blast.
The planned Friday game night has been canceled because of a forecast of week long raining. Mike, Max, Frank, Yan and I decided to meet, rain or not, at Ginger Man bar at 7pm.
The event:
Max arrived at Ginger Man bar first and Yan arrived a bit later around 7pm. I met both of them in front of the bar. We met during the Baruch information session in April so there wasn't any guessing at all :D

Mike called and arrived 5 minutes later. And still smoking :-)

We waited for Frank till 7'30pm but apparently he couldn't get out of work and didn't get our numbers on time to call ahead so we headed out to another bar since Ginger Man bar is packed on a Friday evening.
We went to O'reilly, an Irish bar on 34th a couple of blocks away. We got seated pretty fast, considering it's a Friday night. Then we ordered some beer, some finger food and got very comfortable very fast. The guys ordered some draft beer and Yan got some bottled ones. The following pics were taken after a round of beer.
Yan: " Don't you guys think Mike looks like a Mexican?"

We ordered another round of beer and took turn eating Mike's skins (potato skins that it), Max's fingers (Buffalo wing fingers that is) :). Andy's nachos and Yan's bugger are not that very popular :(. If you look at the table, it was our third round of delicious draft Guinness beer. Yan even went to second round too. =D>

IT WAS ALMOST 11PM WHEN WE PARTED. TIME FLIES SO FAST WHEN YOU HAVE A GOOD TIME !!!
The conclusion:
We had a blast. We enjoyed each others company and the night out was a total success. Everyone is so friendly, easy going, down to earth, funny and we got along so well.
Despite fear of a rain-out night, the weather was awesome. We knew that Dan has to work late that night and we feel bad for him :). To add injury to the insult, the baseball game went on as normal and the Yankees grounded the Oakland 2-0.
We just wish that more people could join us. We plan to go out often during the summer when we can meet more people and Max suggested that we could go out next Friday for the opening of Tom Hanks' "The Da Vinci Code".
We hope to see more people next time around. A good time is guaranteed to be had by all.
