Well, OK.

I used to work as a software engineer in Silicon Valley and was mainly a C++ developer for BI software. Unfortunately :), I am studying actuarial science in Philly right now, but I have strong interests about capital market in general and financial engineer in particular. I will intern with a global financial firm close to Philly and will work on VA(variable annuity) product design and probably, hedging as well. I hope that I can continue to keep my eye open about quant field.

I heard that some hedge fund are also looking at short Variable Annuity right now because of its living benefits riders...
